Inspiring a deeper connection to the clothes we wear.
While spending time volunteering, Jovana and Brandon experienced a vibrant world of people with differing abilities creating bold, expressive art inspired by their dreams and colorful imaginations. Together, they’ve set out to create a brand that would inspire with every stitch, giving conscious consumers the chance to deeply connect with their clothes. Standing at the intersection of fashion and people, Alivia connects the beauty of the silhouette with the beauty of a mind that thinks unlike any other.
Alivia aims to give purpose and voice to the previously unheard, showcasing the many talents and abilities of people with disabilities — and pushing the fashion industry further towards inclusivity.

OUR PROCESS
From expression,
for expression
Beautiful prints begin with art—and great art begins with human stories. From one masterpiece to another, Alivia turns artwork into design, bringing the beautiful minds of creators with disabilities to every print and every hem—showcasing the unique gifts and abilities that break assumed boundaries.
A Unique Origin
Every Alivia piece begins with artwork created by an individual with a developmental disability while participating in art therapy. Each artist is paid for the use of their artwork, and 10% of every purchase is donated to their associated nonprofit art therapy program. This season we are showcasing three talented young adults with autism who participate in art therapy at the Center for All Abilities, an NYC nonprofit that supports local youth and young adults with developmental disabilities.
Collaborative in Principle
Our designers work to meticulously transform these works into bold prints and embroideries while preserving the integrity of their unparalleled conception. We aim to create a collection of prints that reflect the original artist’s artistic vision, personality, and point of view.
Sustainable Commitment
All of our mills and supplier partners are Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®, meaning all raw materials undergo testing to ensure that no harmful chemicals are used. All of our printed fabric is produced using digital printing methods, which reduces fabric and water waste in contrast to traditional printing methods. Our paper goods are made from FSC™ recycled paper.
Production Values
We work very closely with our domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the people making our clothes are paid fairly, treated with respect, and have safe working environments. The majority of our products are produced in the NYC garment district, allowing us to visit with the talented people who physically create our garments on a daily basis!
Redefining a Lifetime Guarantee
Each featured creator is paid for the use of their artwork, and with every purchase, Alivia gives 10% of the revenue directly to the local nonprofit where the artwork originated — giving unheard creative voices a platform to speak for generations of creators to come.
Impact You Can See
Stitched into every garment is a unique scannable tag that allows you to see, experience and share the complete human story of the artist behind the prints on your clothes - and the direct impact you made.

LEARN WITH US
Learning Together
Awareness, love, inclusion, voice, individuality, acceptance. This is Alivia’s constellation of human values that we sew into everything we create, from imaginative start to perfected finish.
We believe knowledge is key in promoting awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of all abilities.
The wonder of art therapy
Art is a powerful form of self-expression, and can be extremely beneficial for people with disabilities. In some cases, people with autism are unable to communicate verbally or have difficulty processing language and emotions - yet are incredible visual thinkers and communicators. Art acts as a vehicle for expression and communication that doesn’t require verbal interaction.
Art therapy has the ability to promote and nurture sensory regulation, motor development, creativity, self-awareness, and self-expression. Its strengths-based and goal-oriented approach allows each individual to recognize their potential and feel understood. With an emphasis on the process instead of the product, art therapy provides a way for an individual to express in his or her unique way without fear of failure, allowing them to invent their own language and expressive style. Art therapy provides a voice to the voiceless, allowing those of all abilities to be heard and understood.
