Hello Alivia community!

Last month, Gigi’s Playhouse NYC held their annual fashion show, and we’re thrilled that Alivia was able to participate and support this amazing cause.

We’re also proud to share that the fashion show was recently featured in Harper's Bazar, one of the world's most prestigious fashion publications, with the title: “For This Community, Fashion Is Healing.”

This is a big accomplishment and a testament to the progress being made towards creating a more inclusive and accepting fashion industry that empowers people of all abilities.

The Gigi's Playhouse NYC fashion show was a celebration of such inclusivity and diversity, featuring models with Down syndrome—and we were honored to have our collection being showcased so magnificently on the runway. The event was a true reflection of the beauty and strength that can be found in all individuals, regardless of their abilities.

The show's founder and executive director, Nancy Gianni, spoke in the article about the importance of inclusivity in the fashion industry, highlighting the need for brands to embrace diversity and make fashion accessible to everyone. We couldn't agree more, and we are proud to be a part of this movement.

We’re grateful for the recognition and excited to continue working towards creating inclusive fashion that makes people feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.

We want to thank Gigi's Playhouse for including us in their fashion show and Harper's Bazaar for featuring the event in their publication. We hope that this will inspire more brands to embrace inclusivity and diversity across the fashion industry.

Thank you for supporting Alivia and our mission to create a more inclusive fashion industry.

Love,
The Alivia Team
